Liverpool Cat Welfare was set up in 1998 we rescue and re-home unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens in a large area of the North West. Since the establishment of this rescue centre we have helped re-home thousands of unwanted cats and kittens, we also have a service for neutering and caring for feral cats and kittens.

There are many cats in our cattery that have been disposed of irresponsibly e.g. dumped in shopping centres etc., and one cat has even been left in plastic bag outside our charity shop in Wavertree, see rescue stories for the full story. Many of our cats have had a bad start in life and they need a lot of TLC, and they end up in our cattery waiting for new homes.

Visiting the cattery couldn’t be easier, phone one of our numbers to make an appointment to come and view our premises, if a cat is chosen, a home visit is required, but the process can be done very quickly and easily (see our home visits page for more information.) Your chosen cat will be reserved for you, so you need not worry about him/her being taken by someone else! One of our staff will arrange a mutually convenient appointment to carry out the check, once successfully completed, you will then be united with you new needy cat.

Delivery of your pet can be arranged if needed, most areas are covered.
